As an Electrician at Accor, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
Troubleshoot electrical problems and identify faults in wiring, switches, outlets, and other components.
Test electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to prevent breakdowns and hazards.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate electrical work and minimize disruptions to hotel operations.
Keep accurate records of electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in electrical work.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents, injuries, and electrical hazards.
Respond promptly to emergency calls and address electrical issues in a timely manner.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Electrician or similar role, preferably in a hospitality or commercial setting.
Thorough knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and components, including switches, outlets, circuit breakers, and transformers.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications.
Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and tools, such as multimeters, voltage testers, and cable trackers.
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose electrical problems accurately.
Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.
Certification or vocational training in electrical work is required.
