Career Opportunity
ISE is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Electrical Engineering team!
Reporting to the Director of ISE, the Electrical Engineer will support the design, development, and integration of advanced electrical systems for subsea vehicles, including AUVs, ROVs and associated support equipment. The role involves working on cutting-edge ocean technology, contributing to the delivery of reliable, high-performance systems operating in demanding marine environments. The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex technical challenges related to power distribution, controls, communications, and subsea hardware integration. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative underwater systems that support scientific, commercial, and defence applications worldwide.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and integration of electrical systems and sub-systems for remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs), and subsea tooling, including detailed schematics and specifications aligned with mission and environmental requirements.
Lead and contribute to formal program and engineering design reviews, ensuring compliance with subsea operational constraints, industry standards, and client-driven performance criteria.
Propose and implement R&D efforts to support the roadmap for AUV development and future growth.
