Duty Manager

As a Front Office Duty Manager, you are responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the front office department at the hotel. Responsibilities will include:

Overseeing the front office during a specific shift, ensuring proper staffing and coverage.
Ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction by handling guest inquiries, requests, and concerns.
Managing the check-in and check-out process, including room assignments, billing, and key handling.
Supervising front desk staff, including receptionists, concierge, bellboys, and night auditors.
Providing training and guidance to front office staff to ensure they follow hotel policies and deliver excellent customer service.
Acting as the point of contact for emergency situations and implementing established procedures, such as fire or evacuation protocols.
Handling cash and payment transactions, preparing financial reports, and assisting with revenue control.
Managing room reservations, ensuring accurate booking information, and optimizing room availability.
Resolving any issues, conflicts, or guest complaints that arise during the shift.
Ensuring the safety and security of guests, staff, and the property by enforcing security protocols.
Performing administrative duties, such as record-keeping, email management, and phone call handling.
Ensuring that front office operations adhere to hotel policies, local regulations, and industry standards.
Coordinating with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage, to address guest needs.
