Position: Director of Sales and Marketing
Position Overview:
The Director of Sales Marketing is responsible for driving and maintaining strong occupancy levels by developing relationships with prospective residents and their families. This role involves executing strategic marketing efforts, guiding prospects through the decision-making process, and clearly communicating the value, services, and culture of the Eden Vista Barrington community.
This is a hands-on, highly visible role for a sales professional who enjoys building trust, owning outcomes, and collaborating closely with leadership and clinical teams.
Sales Occupancy Management:
Achieve and maintain optimal occupancy levels through proactive, relationship-based sales strategies
Track and manage all prospective resident interactions using CRM software
Oversee the full sales pipeline from initial inquiry through move-in
Provide accurate, thorough information regarding the community’s services, features, and benefits
Market Knowledge:
Maintain strong knowledge of community offerings, pricing, and amenities
Monitor and assess local competitors, including services and differentiators
Use market insights to support outreach and marketing initiatives
Prospect Engagement:
Build trusting, consultative relationships with prospective residents and families
Conduct thoughtful needs assessments to align community offerings with individual preferences
Deliver personalized tours and introductions to residents and staff to enhance the visitor experience
Sales Conversion:
Guide prospects through the decision-making process with consistent follow-up
Address questions and objections professionally to secure move-ins
Meet or exceed established sales metrics, including outbound calls, tours, and outreach goals
Community Representation Outreach:
Represent Willow Falls Senior Living professionally in the community and with referral partners
Assist in planning and executing on-site and off-site events that generate qualified leads
Create and implement quarterly marketing plans aligned with occupancy goals
Administrative Team Collaboration:
Maintain regular communication with the Regional Sales Director regarding goals, progress, and execution
Ensure timely and accurate completion of all pre-move-in documentation
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to coordinate resident assessments
Notify internal departments of upcoming move-ins and resident needs to support a smooth transition
Support families and internal teams throughout the move-in process
Education Experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
Minimum of two years of sales and marketing experience in an Assisted Living Facility.
