Individuals will complete four rotations over a three-and-a-half-year timeframe primarily at our Franksville, WI site (20 miles south of Milwaukee), with an initial start date in January or June 2027.
Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates who qualify. Participants will be connected with our relocation vendor and provided a lump sum payment to give you the flexibility to address your specific relocation needs.
Position Overview:
As a rotational Engineering Development Program (EDP) participant, you will gain a diverse range of engineering experience in developing and supporting embedded control products, which are real-time protective and control products used for smart grid applications in the electrical power distribution industry. You will gain a firm grasp of our core engineering competencies and a holistic view of our technology-driven solutions that serve our wide range of customers.
Opportunities include, but are not limited to, rotations in: Embedded Software, Software, Hardware, Quality Assurance, Technical Program Management, Power Systems Engineering, Communications/Cybersecurity, and Product Line Customer Support. In this role you will:
Design and implement features for power system intelligent electronic devices and associated interface software, including power system protection algorithms, system diagnostics/prognostics, communication protocols, cybersecurity, and other relay, control, configuration and monitoring functions using C/C++ and .NET/C#.
Develop detailed test plans, specifications, test cases, and test data sets that validate functional, performance, and load test requirements and update existing test procedures based on requirement changes and test analysis.
Design and test electronic circuits and sub-systems including power supplies, analog/digital circuits and peripheral interfaces for microprocessors and microcontrollers.
