Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out procedures with a positive attitude.
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments using dental practice management software such as Dentrix and Epic.
Handle multi-line phone systems efficiently to answer inquiries, provide appointment information, and direct calls appropriately.
Maintain accurate patient records by updating electronic medical records (EMR) systems and managing documentation in compliance with privacy regulations.
Verify insurance information, process claims, and communicate coverage details clearly to patients.
Manage front desk operations including billing, payments, and processing correspondence to ensure smooth daily workflow.
Support clinical staff by coordinating patient flow and preparing necessary paperwork for procedures.
Skills

Proficiency with dental practice management software, Tracker knowledge is an asset.
Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental and healthcare settings.
Experience working in a dental or medical office environment, especially in front desk or administrative roles.
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and maintaining accurate documentation.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, insurance companies, and vendors.
Ability to manage multi-line phone systems efficiently while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in handling scheduling, billing, and recordkeeping tasks.
