Job Description
DealShare has a vision of enabling ecommerce for the next 500 million users in India in non-metro and rural markets. DealShare has raised series D funding of USD 100 million with key investors like Alteria Capital,Tiger Global Management,InnoVen Capital,Westbridge Capital Falcon Edge Capital, Matrix Partners India,and has a total funding of USD 144.7 million
Dealshare has 2 million customers across Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Delhi NCR with monthly transactions of 1.2 million and annual GMV of $100 million. Our aim is to expand operations to 100 cities across India and reach annual GMV of USD 500 Million by end of 2021.
Dealshare started in Sept 2018 and had 5000 active customers in the first three months. Today we have 25K transactions per day, 1 Lakh DAU and 10 Lakh MAU with a monthly GMV of INR 100 Crores and 50% growth MoM. We aim to hit 2 Lakh transactions per day with an annual GMV of USD 500 Million by 2021.
You will :
• Contribute significantly to overall test automation strategy, choice of automation and other testing tools/libraries/frameworks to test web/mobile app interfaces, microservices, data stores data pipelines in public cloud environment.
• Perform E2E scenario based testing, integration testing, API testing, DB testing, performance testing, endurance testing, security testing in automated ways.
• Write high quality test cases covering all key functional and non functional scenarios, core and edge cases.
• Ensure high quality builds being released to users, with 0% regressions on P0/P1 use cases, ensuring systems can scale well to desired loads.
• Suggest improvement in QA test processes and keep pushing for reduction in time to test, increase in automation coverage, reduction in cost of testing infrastructure. Drive adoption of best QA practices in the team.
• Create and maintain test environment as necessary.
• Strive for 100% automation of P0/P1/P2 use cases and reduce need for manual testing to 5% or less overall.
• Mentor a team of junior SDETs and groom them to the next level.
• Contribute to hiring outstanding SDETs in the team, refine SDET hiring process and uphold high bar
Required :
• Bachelor's degree (4 years) or higher in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience with various kinds of test automation frameworks
• Experience in designing, developing and maintaining test automation frameworks
• Prior experience with API testing, DB testing, and performance testing
• Prior expertise with Android, iOS and web testing
• Expertise in automation integration with cloud based test environment
• Good debugging, problem solving, and troubleshooting skill
• Extremely good at problem solving, is a self thinker.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast paced timeline-driven environment.
• Good team player and ability to collaborate with others
• Self driven and motivated, very high on ownership
Is a plus :
• Expertise with data pipeline testing, security testing.
