Job description
PayPal is hiring a Data Science & Risk Analytics Intern for its Bengaluru team — a hands-on Data Science & Analytics internship for 2026 freshers and final-year students (0 years of experience). You will work on data science & risk analytics, building data pipelines, dashboards and machine-learning models with Risk Modeling, Statistics, Python alongside experienced data scientists and analysts. This is a 6-month hybrid (Bengaluru office + remote) programme. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis through PayPal's official careers portal — apply early as seats are limited. Responsibilities: Collect, clean and analyse large datasets for data science & risk analytics; Build models, dashboards and reports using Risk Modeling, Statistics, Python, SQL; Translate data insights into clear recommendations for stakeholders; Collaborate with data scientists, engineers and product teams on live projects. Requirements: Pursuing or recently completed B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc (CS, IT, Statistics, Maths, Data Science) or equivalent; Working knowledge of Risk Modeling, Statistics, Python; Solid grasp of statistics, data structures and problem solving; Strong analytical thinking and communication skills.
