Role
Range 3 is distinguished by the introduction of management responsibility and accountability for the delivery of professional support services. The role will usually impact beyond the work area or professional field. It seeks to gain cooperation of other staff members or members of the school community to achieve specific objectives, such as in school administration, operations or educational programs.
Direction on targets and goals is provided but the position will have some degree of latitude in determining how they are achieved. This latitude will generally be limited by standard procedures and school policy. Deviation from standard procedures and school policy will require guidance and direction from senior management.
Responsibilities
As well as attending to the duties required within the ES Range 1-3, specific roles will be:
Daily organisation - Coordinating CRTs to cover teaching staff for all absences, including the administration of Professional Development and Professional Practice Days.
Allocating extras, in lieu to staff equitably, in line with the agreement and communicating this to staff in a timely manner.
Maintaining a database of CRT's including qualifications, availability, resumes etc
Liaising with Recruitment companies as required.
Support the administration of School Local Payroll in conjunction with the school Local Payroll office
Administration of CRT paperwork and inductions.
In conjunction with the College Organiser, ensure staffing changes notified to appropriate staff to ensure the smooth daily operations of the College.
Management of the College Calendar
Working with the College Organiser on alternative programs that require staffing e.g. Transition Programs, Exam Timetables.
Provide various reports to the Principal Team on the CRT budget, staff allocations etc.
Administrative Assistance
Proficient use of administrative packages is essential for this role.

Other Information
The primary role is to manage the daily organisation across the college, under supervision of the College Organiser.
Buckley Park College uses Edval and Compass as the main software packages to support this role. The ES Daily Organiser will work closely with the College Organiser.
The hours of work are 7am ¿ 3:06 pm daily.
