Customer Service Representative
Job Description
NHR Group is a proudly New Zealand-owned vehicle rental and leasing company experiencing exciting growth. We're looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our Manukau branch and become an important part of our close-knit team.
This is more than a front desk role – you'll be the face of our business, creating positive customer experiences while helping keep our branch and fleet operating smoothly.
About the Role
As our Customer Service Representative, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding service from the moment customers arrive until they return their vehicle. Working in a small, supportive team, you'll enjoy a varied role that combines customer service, administration and day-to-day branch operations.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional customer service both in person, over the phone and via email.
Manage vehicle collections and returns.
Prepare rental agreements, invoices and process payments accurately.
Coordinate vehicle bookings, availability and servicing.
Learn and operate our rental management systems.
Move and position vehicles when required.
Complete daily cash reconciliations.
Maintain high presentation standards across the branch and fleet.
Build strong relationships with both new and returning customers.
About You
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.
You'll bring:
Previous experience in a customer-facing or customer service role.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive, friendly and professional attitude.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
The ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
Confidence using computer systems and learning new technology.
A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership.
A Full NZ Class 1 Driver Licence (Class 2 is an advantage).
