Position Summary
The Customer Care & Pool Operations Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for residential and HOA accounts within the client's pool service and property maintenance division. This role blends hands-on operational oversight with customer relationship management. The Coordinator is responsible for supervising and supporting field pool technicians, troubleshooting service issues, communicating with property managers and HOA contacts, and ensuring that every account runs smoothly. This is a field-forward role for someone who knows pools, stays organized, and takes ownership of getting problems solved from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the main point of contact for residential and HOA accounts, building strong relationships that retain and grow business
Oversee and coordinate the daily work of field pool technicians, providing direction and following up to ensure work is completed to standard and on time
Troubleshoot service issues in the field (water quality, equipment, chemical balance) and identify root causes when a pool falls out of spec
Communicate proactively with property managers and HOA contacts about service issues and resolutions
Hold technicians accountable for proper maintenance practices, chemical levels, and equipment care
Meet health department inspectors on site during scheduled inspections and communicate effectively regarding pool compliance
Ensure all field paperwork, receipts, and documentation are submitted to the office promptly so billing and invoicing stay accurate
Understand what HOA communities and common areas should look like from a maintenance standpoint and inspect accordingly
Follow up with accounts to confirm resolution and satisfaction
Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts through strong relationships and reliable execution
Qualifications
SNHD certified (pool certification through the health department) required
Pool maintenance experience with knowledge of pools, pumps, heaters, and all related equipment
Extremely familiar with SNHD regulations
Supervisory experience; comfortable giving direction and holding a team accountable
Strong organizational skills with reliable follow-through on paperwork and documentation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain professional and solution-oriented in high-pressure situations
Familiarity with HOA community maintenance standards a plus
Clean driving record (company vehicle provided)
Work Environment & Schedule
Hourly, non-exempt position
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Approximately 80% field-based and 20% in-office
Occasional overtime as necessary during peak summer season, holidays, or emergencies
Year-round employment with no seasonal layoffs and no pay reduction in the winter months
