About the Role
Young Edsplorer is looking for a highly motivated and ambitious Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our growing B2B Sales team. We are seeking candidates who are passionate about the education sector and possess excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
The ideal candidate should have prior experience in B2B Sales, Education Sales, or EdTech and should be comfortable engaging with Principals, School Owners, Directors, and other key decision-makers across K-12 schools. This role requires extensive travel across India to generate new business opportunities and build long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify, prospect, and onboard new K-12 schools across India.
• Generate qualified leads through LinkedIn, cold calling, email campaigns, networking, referrals, and market research.
• Schedule and conduct meetings with school stakeholders, including Principals, Directors, Trustees, and Management.
• Deliver impactful product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to successful deal closure.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with schools and educational institutions.
• Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and CRM database.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and customer success.
• Represent the company at educational events, conferences, exhibitions, and networking forums.
• Travel extensively across India for school visits, client meetings, presentations, and business development activities.
Required Skills
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• 1–3 years of experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Education Sales, or EdTech Sales.
• Proven ability to generate leads and close business opportunities.
• Experience in LinkedIn outreach, cold calling, email prospecting, and relationship management.
• Strong networking and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
• Willingness to travel extensively across India.
Preferred Background
• Prior experience in the K-12 education segment.
• Experience working with EdTech companies or selling solutions to schools.
• Exposure to School Partnerships, Education Sales, or B2B SaaS Sales.
• Experience interacting with Principals, School Owners, Trustees, and School Management.
• Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Existing relationships within schools or educational institutions will be an added advantage.
Eligibility Criteria
• Bachelor's degree completed between 2020 and 2025.
• Candidates from Tier-1 institutes/universities will be preferred.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in Business Development or B2B Sales.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills are mandatory.
• Must be comfortable working from the Noida office.
• Must be willing to travel extensively across India for client meetings and business development.
