Crewing Officer
Job Description
· Check and Maintain CVs of Officers/Crew receiving from worldwide manning agent;
· Prepare CV in ARAMCO format for Master, Chief Mate and Chief Engineer;
· Arrange interview, Check references for officers/crew with their previous companies;
· Make physical checks and maintain all Officers/Crew Certificates and other documents;
· Liaison with manning agent worldwide for new joiner certification and documentation;
· Verifying Authentication of Officers / Crew certificates;
· Send required documents to manning agent / seafarer
· Advise manning agent to arrange for pre-joining Medicals;
· Maintain vessel wise sign-on and sign-off details;
· Maintain all file/register WRT crewing department;
· Prepare rotation plan for crew with respect to contract period and leave;
· Make all documents available on the shared folder for all crew in Rank wise folders;
· Send required documents to flag state for obtaining Equivalent Licenses, Seaman book as required by flag state;
· Arrange travel, visa, flight booking and accommodation;
· Brief manning agent/Seafarers on airport formalities, checking contracts and immigration letters;
· Liaison with operation supervisor/Logistics dept./ships/port agents for crew change;
· Liaison with QHSE Manager and DPA for ISM Induction to the new joining officers;
· Liaise with accounts department for petty cash on board and ensure that salaries of crew and officers are paid on time;
· Check day to day all officers/crew certification expiry date;
· Ensure PPE arranged for on-signing crew;
· Maintain and ensure that the COE / GOC / SVGE are applied for on time and original certificates sent to ship;
· Make and update Crew List and planner of ships for Officers/Crew;
