Job Summary:

The Counter Sales Executive will be responsible for customer service and sales at the store counter, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction by providing professional and personalized assistance in the selection and purchase of jewelry. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in the jewelry industry, strong communication skills, and a sales-driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
• Customer Interaction : Greet customers promptly and engage them to understand their requirements.

Provide detailed information on jewelry products (materials, gemstones, designs, and price points).

Offer expert advice to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
• Sales:
• Drive sales by recommending products based on customer preferences.
• Demonstrate and present jewelry items to customers with enthusiasm and confidence.
• Meet and exceed individual sales targets.

Product Knowledge:
• Maintain thorough knowledge of product specifications, trends, and market demand in the jewelry industry.
• Stay updated on new arrivals, collections, and seasonal promotions.

Inventory Management:
• Assist in managing inventory and ensuring stock availability for customer demands.
• Maintain a clean and organized display of jewelry items at the counter.
• Help in updating price tags and ensuring correct information is displayed.

Billing and Payment:
• Process billing, handle cash/card transactions, and ensure accurate and prompt invoicing.
• Coordinate with the finance team for reconciliation of daily sales.

Customer Service:
• Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, or concerns in a professional manner.
• Build long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.

Store Operations Support:
• Support store management in day-to-day operations.
• Participate in promotional events and campaigns to enhance store sales.

Follow-up:
• Conduct follow-up calls with customers for special orders or customized jewelry items.
• Provide after-sales support, such as cleaning, maintenance, and repair services.

Key Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of jewelry products ( diamonds, gemstones, etc.).
• Sales-driven, with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
• Basic knowledge of billing and point-of-sale systems.
• Attention to detail, especially with product descriptions and customer preferences.

Educational Requirements:
