Project Manager – Commercial Construction - Cornad Contracting
Are you ready to take ownership of exciting, high-impact commercial builds? Join Cornad Contracting—a family-owned general contractor where collaboration, integrity, and innovation drive everything we do. We’re growing fast and looking for a Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to deliver top-quality results on time and on budget.
You’ll be the go-to lead on commercial projects up to $3M+, working closely with clients, subcontractors, and our internal teams to keep everything moving smoothly—from kickoff to close-out.
What You’ll Do:
Lead Construction Projects: Own project scope, budget, schedule, and resources from start to finish.
Keep Everything on Track: Manage change orders, site progress, and quality checks to ensure we hit every milestone.
Be the Main Point of Contact: Build strong relationships with clients and subs. Keep internal and external communication clear and timelines tight.
Champion Safety and Compliance: Conduct site inspections and lead the way on contract requirements and health and safety protocols.
Contribute to Business Growth: Support estimating, bidding, and proposal development to help secure future wins.
What You’ll Bring:
Education: PMP certification (or equivalent hands-on experience) is a strong asset
Experience: 7–10 years of experience in commercial construction project management
Qualifications: Class 5 Alberta driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed
Project Management Skills:
Proven ability to lead projects with budgets of $3M+
Experience coordinating subs, site crews, and budgets
People Skills: Confident leadership and communication skills—you know how to motivate a team and solve problems
Tech Skills: Comfortable using MS Office and construction project management software
