Coordinate the receipt and disbursement of funds and ensure all funding and completion requirements are met within established deadlines.
Communicate professionally and proactively with clients, real estate professionals, lenders, opposing counsel and other parties throughout each transaction.
Identify potential concerns, discrepancies or risks and bring them to the responsible lawyer’s attention promptly.
Maintain organized, accurate and complete electronic and physical file records in accordance with firm procedures and regulatory requirements.
Prepare final reports to clients and lenders, reporting packages and accounts.
Provide regular file-status updates to the responsible lawyer and ensure all critical dates and conditions are monitored.
Assist lawyers with complex residential, commercial real estate or development matters, as required.
Contribute to a collaborative team environment and provide reasonable coverage during employee absences and peak periods.
Protect client confidentiality and handle all information and funds with accuracy, discretion and professionalism.
