Consultant Psychiatrist Opportunity at the Women's and Children's Health Network
We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Child Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of evidence-informed, high-quality specialist mental health services to the community-based CAMHS population.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team across one or more sites, serving infants, children, young people, and their families. They will also offer high-level consultation, psychiatric assessments, and therapeutic services as needed.
Fellowship of Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or equivalent;
Registrable as a Psychiatrist with the Australian Health Practitioners Agency (AHPRA);
Demonstrated clinical excellence in the specialty of child psychiatry;
Demonstrated ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team, including leading improvements in clinical outcomes and in implementing clinical change;
Demonstrated skills in complex problem solving and decision making at the organisational and individual level;
Demonstrated ability to engage consumers in individual care planning and broader service planning;
