Job description
About the Role
As a Construction Labour Specialist, you will be responsible for undertaking various tasks on building sites, including setting up site establishments, assisting with construction and fitout phases, and demobilizing site establishments. You will also be required to erect and maintain perimeter site fences, safety barriers, and other equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Digging footings, trenches, and holes by hand or assisted with power tools and machinery.
Erecting and maintaining perimeter site fences and safety barriers.
Using and maintaining mechanically operated power, petrol, gas driven, and pneumatic tools and equipment.
Assisting with basic formwork construction and concrete placement.
Tying reinforcement and lifting/carrying equipment and materials.
Requirements
Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle.
OHS General Induction Card (White Card) and ACT Approved Asbestos Awareness Certificate.
Ability to obtain a security pass and/or clearance if required.
Ability to obtain a Working with Vulnerable People card.
