Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Computer Science Lecturer to teach and train students in computer science and programming concepts. The lecturer will be responsible for classroom teaching, practical laboratory sessions, student assessments, project guidance, and developing students' technical and professional skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver lectures on core Computer Science and Information Technology subjects.
• Teach subjects such as:
• Programming in C / C++
• Python Programming
• Data Structures
• Database Management Systems (DBMS)
• Computer Networks
• Operating Systems
• Object-Oriented Programming
• Web Development
• Software Engineering
• Computer Organization and Architecture
• Java Programming
• Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning – Basics
• Cyber Security – Basics
• Internet and Web Technologies
• Prepare lesson plans, presentations, assignments, question papers, and teaching materials.
• Conduct programming and computer laboratory practicals.
• Guide students in coding exercises, technical assignments, mini-projects, and final-year projects.
• Evaluate students through written examinations, practical tests, assignments, presentations, and internal assessments.
• Maintain student attendance, academic records, practical records, and performance reports.
• Provide academic mentoring, career guidance, and technical support to students.
• Organize coding competitions, technical workshops, seminars, hackathons, and guest lectures.
• Guide students in developing software applications and academic projects.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of computer laboratory systems and equipment.
• Promote safe, ethical, and responsible use of computer systems and internet resources.
• Stay updated with current programming languages, software tools, technologies, and industry trends.
• Coordinate student internships and industrial training where required.
• Participate in departmental meetings, examinations, curriculum planning, and institutional activities.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant teaching or industry experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of programming and computer science fundamentals.
• Good communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
• Practical knowledge of computer laboratory activities.
Desired Skills
• Strong programming and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Knowledge of web development and software development tools.
• Ability to conduct practical programming sessions.
• Good project guidance and mentoring skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional attitude and teamwork.
Experience
1–3 years of teaching or relevant IT industry experience preferred.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
