Job description
Job Title: Compliance – IT Specialist

Reports to: Head - Risk and Business Strategy

Objective:

The incumbent will be primarily responsible for coordinating regulatory inspections, ensuring compliance with banking regulations, and conducting information systems audits.

Responsibilities:
• Manage IT compliance and conduct information systems audits to ensure the Bank's regulatory requirements are met.
• Conduct information systems and security audits, application control reviews, and application functionality reviews with expertise.
• Perform IT audits in accordance with the annual audit plan.
• Apply practical experience of audit methodology to achieve results.
• Assist team members in conducting compliance reviews and support the preparation of submissions to the Board and Audit Compliance Committee.

Essential Competencies:
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements for Indian banks, particularly RBI and FEMA regulations.
• Excellent coordination skills to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders.
• Strong research capabilities and intelligent interpretation of regulatory guidelines.
• Comprehensive knowledge of commercial, operational, and banking areas like trade, remittances, and treasury.
• Demonstrated ability to drive results and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Relevant Experience:

Chartered Accountant (preferably first attempt) with a degree in Law or Company Secretary as an added benefit.

1-2 years of post-qualification experience in Financial Services, preferably handling RBI Inspections.
