Job description
Compliance Position – IT

Reports to Head - Risk, Business and Security

Objective: The incumbent is primarily responsible for coordinating regulatory inspections.

Responsibilities:
• Manages IT compliance and conducts Information Systems Audit for the Bank.
• Conducts Information Systems and Security audits, application control reviews, and application functionality reviews with experience in these areas.
• Performs IT audits as per the agreed annual audit plan.
• Has practical experience of audit methodology.
• Assists team members in conducting compliance reviews.
• Assists in preparing monthly/quarterly/annual submissions to the Board/Audit Compliance Committee.

Essential Competencies:
• In-depth knowledge of the regulatory environment for banks in India, particularly RBI FEMA requirements.
• Excellent coordination skills.
• Strong research capabilities and intelligent interpretation of regulatory guidelines.
• Good understanding of banking areas like Trade, Remittances, and Treasury.
• Demonstrated ability to drive results and be effective in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Qualifications and Relevant Experience:

Chartered Accountant (preferably first attempt). A degree in Law or Company Secretary is an added benefit.

1-2 years of post-qualification experience in Financial Services, preferably handling RBI Inspection.
