Childcare Cook (Part-Time)
Captain Bligh Early Learning Centre
Captain Bligh Early Learning Centre, established in 1991, has proudly provided high-quality early childhood education and care to the local community for many decades. We are committed to supporting children's health and wellbeing through nutritious meals and a caring environment.
We are currently seeking a reliable and passionate Cook to join our team.
About the Role
Part-time position – 25 hours per week
Start date: ASAP
Prepare and cook nutritious meals and snacks for children
Plan menus that meet dietary, allergy, and nutritional requirements
Manage food ordering and stock control
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen environment
About You
Previous experience as a cook (childcare experience highly regarded)
Current Food Handling Certificate (essential)
Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Understanding of children's dietary needs and allergies
Organised, reliable, and able to work independently
Current Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain
Australian citizenship required
