Causal Orderlys Temporary Staffing Bureau
We are seeking reliable, customer-focused Orderlies to support day-to-day hospital operations at Auckland City Hospital This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to patient care while working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
About the role
As an Orderly, you will play a vital role in supporting hospital services by:
Transporting patients (including high-risk patients) safely and respectfully
Moving non-patient items and equipment across hospital sites
Providing friendly, professional customer service to patients, whānau, staff, and visitors
Ensuring patients and items are in the right place at the right time
Orderlies complete a high volume of tasks daily across Auckland City Hospital, Starship Childrens Hospital, and Greenlane Clinical Centre.
Shifts & pay
Causal roles available
Fully rostered shifts, Monday to Sunday, across a 24/7 service
Starting hourly rate from $28.63, depending on experience
What were looking for
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Previous experience in a customer-facing or service-based role
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
A high level of physical fitness (this role can involve up to 20,000 steps per day)
A professional, courteous, and team-focused approach
A full NZ driver licence and truck driving experience (advantageous but not essential)
A genuine desire to contribute to the wellbeing of the community
Eligibility requirements
Must have valid New Zealand working rights (NZ citizen, resident
Must currently reside in New Zealand
