Catering Food Manager and Assistant Kitchen Manager
Not every kitchen position is built the same. This role is for someone who thrives in leadership, loves the energy of events, understands execution at a high level and wants to help grow something bigger.
363 Car & Social Club Catering and DiGusto restaurant are looking for a strong culinary leader to join our team in a duel-role position that combines catering operations, kitchen leadership, event execution and buisness development.
This is an opportunity to work directly alongside our Executive Chef to help lead one of Sudbury's growing hospitality and catering operations.
The Role
This position operates as:
-Catering food manager for 363 Car and Social Club catering
-Assistant kitchen manager at DiGusto during non-event periods
You will play a major role in executing high-quality catered events, leading food preparation and logistics, coordinating staffing, supporting kitchen leadership, and helping grow the catering division.
This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who can manage people, food quality, timing, organization and pressure with professionalism and confidence.
This is an event driven role, and our busiest times are evenings and weekends. As a result, the successful candidate will be expected to work a flexible schedule with regular evening and weekend availability.
What you will be responsible for:
Catering and Events
-Managing food preparation and execution for catered events
-Organizing staffing and event kitchen logistics
-Leading event prep timelines and production
-Maintaining high presentation and food quality standards
-Working directly with chefs and front-of-house teams during execution
-Assisting with menu development and event planning
-Helping build and expand catering relationships and business opportunities
Kitchen Leadership at DiGusto Pizza and Pasta
-Supporting day-to-day kitchen operations
-Assisting with prep organization and kitchen leadership
-Cooking on line when needed
-Maintaining cleanliness, systems, and standards
-Supporting team training and accountability
