About the role
The Casual Operations Supervisor will ensure the efficient and effective operations of the pool areas within our Aquatic Facilities and water quality and maintenance checks are completed. The position will also meet all customer service Council standards, and checking and compiling of daily, weekly and annual reports and adherence to relevant legislation effecting swimming pool operations in conjunction with the Operations Team Leader.

Remuneration
$45.69 per hour (inclusive of loading) + 12% Superannuation + Weekend Penalty Rates
Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications
A minimum of 2 years in a leadership or demonstrated supervisory qualities.
Must be willing to obtain Certificate III in Aquatics and Community Recreation with all the specific competencies in Aquatic Technical Operations or equivalent industry qualifications or equivalent within 6 months of employment
Demonstrated experience in swimming pool operations and pool supervision.
Current Pool Lifeguard License, Application of First Aid Certificate, Advanced Resuscitation, and Oxygen Equipment.
Proven ability to take responsibility for safety of patrons.
Advanced interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
Team leadership and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to operate and control grounds and facilities of a multi- purpose or heritage pool.
Ability to meet Child Protection Act requirements.
