We are seeking a motivated and reliable Plumbers Helper to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the plumbing industry. As a Plumbers Helper, you will assist licensed plumbers in various tasks related to installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. This role requires a willingness to learn and develop skills necessary for a successful career in plumbing.

Responsibilities
• Assist plumbers with the installation and repair of pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Help assemble and maintain plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with local codes.
• Support HVAC installations as needed, gaining exposure to additional systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools are accounted for.
• Follow safety protocols at all times to promote a safe working environment.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record are required.

Experience
• Basic knowledge of plumbing principles is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools is beneficial.
• A willingness to learn new skills such as welding or HVAC system maintenance is encouraged.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential qualities for success in this role.

En tant qu'aide-plombier, vous aiderez les plombiers agréés à effectuer diverses tâches liées à l'installation, à l'entretien et à la réparation des systèmes de plomberie. Responsabilités

Aider les plombiers à installer et à réparer les tuyaux, les accessoires et les appareils.

Utiliser les outils manuels et électriques de manière sûre et efficace.

Participer à l'assemblage et à l'entretien des systèmes de plomberie, en veillant au respect des codes locaux.

Soutenir les installations de chauffage, de ventilation et de climatisation selon les besoins, en se familiarisant avec d'autres systèmes.

Maintenir un environnement de travail propre et organisé, en veillant à ce que tous les outils soient rangés.

Respecter les protocoles de sécurité à tout moment afin de promouvoir un environnement de travail sûr.

Un permis de conduire valide et un bon dossier de conduite sont requis.

Expérience

Une connaissance de base des principes de la plomberie est souhaitée mais non exigée ; une formation sur le tas sera dispensée.

Une expérience de l'utilisation d'outils manuels et électriques est souhaitable.

La volonté d'acquérir de nouvelles compétences, telles que le soudage ou l'entretien des systèmes CVC, est encouragée.

Une solide éthique de travail, le souci du détail et la capacité à travailler en collaboration au sein d'une équipe sont des qualités essentielles pour réussir dans ce poste.

• *What you will be doing**
- Prepare meals according to the daily menu ensuring freshness and variety, adhering to all food safety preparation guidelines and Company safety/food handling procedures. Bakes, prepares sandwiches, salads and other items.
- Provides excellent service to customers by preparing and serving meals in a timely fashion, including but not limited to Breakfast (made-to-order to customer satisfaction, and pre-made products).
- Performs cash handling according to the Company’s cash handling policy.
- Bakes fresh goods daily according to menu as determined by the Food Beverage Manager and ensures that they are displayed for sale.
- Takes inventory and stocks products and informs Food Beverage Manager when the product needs to be ordered. Responsible for taking monthly inventory (front and back of house) and submitted to Food Beverage Manager for any required action.
- Performs regular housekeeping duties, complying with all Health and Safety Standards.
- Shift: Afternoon: 2pm to 10:30pm
• *What you will bring**
- Excellent customer service skills and experience in customer service required.
- Experience with handling cash required.
- Basic knowledge of cafeteria functions
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical, with problem-identification and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and effective multi-tasking is essential
- General computer skills.
- Safe Food Handler Certificate an asset.
