Summary:
We are seeking a full-time junior corporate paralegal to join its growing legal team in our Montreal office. The candidate will collaborate and participate with internal teams and provide assistance to Canderel’s legal group.

Primary Responsibilities:
File notices, annual reports, declarations, registrations and other various documents with the relevant authorities (Corporations Canada, Registraire des Entreprises, Onatrio Business Registry, etc.).
Draft annual resolutions and various documents related to changes that need to be integrated in minute books.
Maintain records and minute books of various corporate entities.
Update summaries, lists and minute book database program of the department
Coordinate approvals and signatures of documents
Provide administrative support on transactions and legal files
Performing other general administrative responsibilities and procedural tasks, such as email correspondences, communicating with the Registraire des Entreprises and similar.
Qualifications Competencies:
Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS) in Paralegal Technology or equivalent
A minimum of two (2) year of professional experience in a similar position.
Excellent oral and writing skills in French and English. Please note that due to the nature of the position, a proficient level of English is required to communicate on a regular basis with employees outside of Quebec.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Outlook, Word and Excel).
Knowledge of Athennian an asset (or experience with minute book database program).
Great attention to detail.
Priority management and ability to work with deadlines.
Excellent organizational skills.
Strong team values.
Autonomy and adaptability.
