Role Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated Chartered Accountant (CA Fresher) to join our team as a Credit Manager at a leading Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) in Ahmedabad. The Credit Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s credit portfolio, ensuring effective credit risk management, and utilizing financial analysis and analytical skills to make sound credit decisions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the organization by ensuring that all credit-related processes are streamlined and risk is minimized.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage credit portfolios, ensuring proper credit risk management.
• Perform in-depth credit analysis and financial assessments of potential borrowers.
• Evaluate financial statements, creditworthiness, and repayment capacity of individuals and businesses seeking credit.
• Assess and mitigate credit risk, providing accurate risk evaluations and recommendations for approval or rejection.
• Analyze market trends, industry data, and client financials to make informed credit decisions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create and maintain credit policies and procedures.
• Provide recommendations to senior management regarding credit limits, terms, and conditions.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies in the credit approval process.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management regarding credit risk exposure and portfolio performance.
• Continuously monitor the credit portfolio and provide timely reports on its performance.
Qualifications:
• Chartered Accountant (CA) – Must have completed CA (fresher level).
• Strong background in Credit Management, Credit Risk Management, and Finance.
• Proven ability to analyze financial statements and conduct detailed credit analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Ability to make informed and sound financial decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and clients.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring accuracy in credit assessments.
