We are looking for a smart and enthusiastic Information Technology Business Development Executive to be a part of our sales team. You will be responsible for communicating with Enterprise customers based out in Kolkata and associated branches outside the region. Explaining to them the technical features and functionalities of the products of various OEMs who are partners of WissenIT. Engaging with key decision makers like CTO/CIO/CISO/CFO/VP IT/IT Manager etc. of various Enterprises. You should be able to influence their purchasing decisions with technological benefits. Besides, you should also be able to assist in developing effective sales strategies for Enterprise customers.
As an Information Technology BDE, you should also be able to conduct extensive market research to identify potential clients.. In addition to this, you should be able to present and negotiate service renewal contracts.
To be able to perform in this job role, you should have a complete knowledge of the terminology used in the IT industry. Furthermore, you should have excellent communication and negotiation skills. You should be able to handle stressful situations and manage strict deadlines. A candidate with excellent customer service skills will be preferred.
Responsibilities
• Understanding the technical features and functionalities of the products
• Majorly focused business on Cloud provides and delivering business on PaaS, SaaS IaaS
• Engaging with OEM like Arcon, Acronis, Trend Micro, Sophos, Everest, Microsoft, Google, AWS and other OEMs who has presence on cloud software-based products.
• Assisting in developing an effective sales strategy
• Setting and completing sales targets
• Working as an independent contributor
• Conducting in-depth research to identify market opportunities.
• Examining the IT requirements of customers and suggesting appropriate products
• Conducting product demonstrations or Proof of Concept as and when required
• Creating Proposals for customers
• Engaging with distributor or OEMs to get the transfer price over email.
• Good understanding of profit margins
• Good understanding on the competitions
• Communicating product discounts and warranties to the customers
• Presenting and negotiating skills with the customers especially with finance department
• Gathering feedback from customers and engaging after-sales support team whenever required
• Tracking weekly sales performance metrics and maintaining a record of the same on company’s tracking portal
• Need to work on company’s ERP software before loading orders for both sales purchase to distributors.
Requirements
• Graduate with minimum 4-5 years of experience on sales from IT industry with Cloud sales experience
• Female candidate will be preferred
• Candidate must be from Kolkata, on site
• Complete knowledge of the terminology used in the IT industry.
• Familiarity with the trends and developments in the Sales industry
• Excellent technical skills and should be ready to learn new technologies.
• Should be ready to take up new challenges and should have ownerships responsibilities.
