A bar and restaurant in Hells Kitchen seeks Brunch Line Cook for a part time position. Shifts are every Saturday and Sunday.
Candidates should have experience working in a fast paced environment and be hard-working. Food handlers card is a required. We have a great team and we are looking for someone who will be a great addition.
LINE COOK REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to take direction well from Chef and management
- Also confident working alone
- Good attitude and a team player
- Responsible and punctual
- Food Service experience
- Excellent Knife skills
- Understanding of kitchen equipment's
- Can stand for several hours a day
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Fluent in English
LINE COOK RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares food in the kitchen
- Works one or more kitchen stations, including grill, sauté, and fry
- Maintains a clean and sanitary work area
- Handles, stores and rotates all products properly
- Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed
- Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations.
- Responsible for washing their own prep dishes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
