Job Description
• Follow provided scripts, screenplays, or outlines to structure videos effectively and deliver the intended message.
• Enhance footage by adding sound, music, voiceovers, and overlay graphics to elevate the story and visual appeal.
• Digitally splice and synchronize film and video segments to create cohesive rough cuts and polished final versions.
• Adjust and correct lighting, color, and any visual issues in raw footage to meet high-quality production standards.
• Work collaboratively with a dynamic team to deliver a final product that aligns with the project vision and resonates with viewers.
• Ensure smooth, logical sequencing and transitions for a seamless viewing experience.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across production and post-production to incorporate feedback and achieve outstanding results.
• Stay updated on the latest editing techniques, tools, and industry best practices to continuously improve quality and efficiency.
• Design and Develop Digital Campaigns: Play a crucial role in designing visually impactful campaigns, from concept to execution. You'll have the opportunity to work on digital campaigns, social ads, and performance marketing videos that capture attention and drive results.
.Social Media Video Creation: Collaborate on creating engaging social media content tailored for each platform to boost brand presence, improve engagement, and create share-worthy videos. Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing demonstrable video editing abilities.
• Proficiency in leading video editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe AfterEffects, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, and Adobe Audition.
• A solid understanding of video timing, narrative flow, and continuity.
• Ability to take direction well while applying a creative eye to enhance visuals and narrative.
• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English and strong vocabulary, punctuation, and grammar skills.
• Creative mindset with storytelling skills that bring ideas to Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, or a related field (a 120-credit program is preferred).
• 3 years or more of hands-on experience in video editing.
• Any online certifications in video editing, digital content creation, or related areas are a plus.
