Beta Reader for Amazon books in India (Jaipur)
Job Description
I'm looking for paid beta readers for my books on general health, money and finance, and a philosophical poetry collection.
What's involved:
- Purchase the Kindle ebook through the link on Amazon.in (we'll reimburse the cost)
- Read the entire e-book thoroughly or simply skim through it; however, dedicate at least 60 minutes to reading it within a day or two.
- Submit private written feedback via a short form: what resonated, what didn't, which chapter/information/poems stood out.
Compensation: E-book cost reimbursed + Rs (100 - 150) for your time and value for every book read, paid after genuine and honest feedback with a rating is submitted.
Apart from your valuable feedback to help me improve future work, a genuine and honest public review on Amazon is highly appreciated.
Before applying to this post, you must check your eligibility to honestly review any product on Amazon.in:
How to Check: You can check your eligibility by simply reviewing any product on Amazon without purchasing it. If you are eligible, your review will be submitted without any notice. If you are not eligible, please don’t apply to this post.
To apply: Comment "Interested" or DM me, or apply to the job with one line about what kind of books you usually read.
Here's the feedback form — structured so it's quick for them to fill out but gives you genuinely helpful material for both editorial improvement and (with disclosure) marketing quotes.
Beta Reader Feedback Form
Please answer as honestly as possible — critical feedback is just as valuable as positive feedback.
1. Overall first impression
In a few sentences, what was your overall experience reading the book?
2. Which part resonated most?
Which part felt most relevant to you personally, and why?
3. Standout poem or line
Was there a specific chapter, information, or line that stayed with you after you finished? (Naming it helps connect readers)
4. What didn't work as well
Was there anything that felt repetitive, unclear, or less effective? Be specific if possible — this helps far more than general praise.
5. Who would you recommend this to?
What kind of reader do you think would connect with this book most?
6. One-line reaction
If you had to sum up your experience in one sentence, what would it be? (This may be used, with attribution as a paid beta reader, as a testimonial on the author's website or social media — let us know if you'd prefer it not be used publicly.) - Your identity will not be disclosed.
