Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a friendly and skilled Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming café environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso, tea, and other beverages.
Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment.
Take customer orders, process payments, and handle cash or card transactions.
Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations when needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including coffee machines and preparation stations.
Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment.
Restock ingredients and supplies as needed.
Assist in training new team members when necessary.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Barista is necessary
Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift light to moderate weights.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts.
Preferred Skills:
Latte art skills.
Familiarity with different coffee blends and brewing methods.
Experience with POS (Point of Sale) systems.
Pay: $26.00 – $32.00 per hour

barista: 2 years (Preferred)
