Responsibilities
Actively promote and sell banquet and event spaces through outreach, marketing initiatives, and personalized client consultations
Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, budget, and requirements, providing expert guidance on event planning details
Coordinate with culinary, catering, audiovisual, and service teams to ensure seamless execution of events from setup to breakdown
Upsell additional services such as premium packages, decorations, or special amenities to maximize revenue opportunities
Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients while maintaining profitability and ensuring customer satisfaction
Manage event timelines, logistics, and communication to guarantee smooth operations on the day of the event
Maintain detailed records of client interactions, bookings, payments, and follow-up activities to foster ongoing relationships
Requirements
Proven experience in hospitality sales, restaurant management, or hotel event coordination with a focus on guest services
Strong marketing skills to attract new clients and promote available spaces effectively
Excellent negotiation and communication skills to build rapport with clients and internal teams
Demonstrated ability in upselling services to enhance guest experiences and increase revenue
Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail and time management abilities
Knowledge of budgeting principles to manage costs while delivering high-quality events
Prior experience in restaurant or hotel environments is highly desirable; familiarity with event planning software is a plus
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism
