Job Description
We are currently seeking a talented Back-End Developer to join our dynamic team and take charge of maintaining and enhancing the back-end infrastructure supporting our production app. As we gear up for the next version releases, this role will play a pivotal role in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of our application.
Responsibilities:
Production Support:
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions for recurring issues.
Conduct root cause analysis for critical incidents and implement preventive measures.
Release Management:
Lead the planning and execution of version releases, ensuring a smooth and error-free deployment process.
Collaborate with front-end developers and DevOps teams to coordinate release schedules and dependencies.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
Back-End Development in PHP Laravel:
Enhance and optimize existing back-end systems to support new features and improvements.
Collaborate with the development team to design and implement scalable, high-performance APIs.
Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and knowledge sharing within the team.
Database Management:
Manage and optimize database structures, ensuring efficient query performance and data integrity.
Implement data migration and transformation processes as needed for new features.
Security and Compliance:
Implement and maintain security best practices to protect user data and application assets.
Stay informed about industry best practices and ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Back-End Developer with a focus on production support and release management.
Proficiency in back-end technologies such as PHP Laravel, Python, Django.
Experience with database management and optimization in SQL and MongoDB
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Knowledge of security best practices and data protection regulations.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2-4 years of relevant work experience in back-end development and production support.
