AWS Cloud Operations Analyst/Developer- Hybrid (Chicago, Peoria, or Irving office)
We are looking for a proactive Analyst/Developer to provide platform stability and production support for AWS-based services. This role is critical for incident management, operational readiness, and serving as a technical liaison between platform teams and support organizations.
• Duration: 12 Months
• Location: Hybrid (Chicago, Peoria, or Irving office)
• Experience: 5 years
• Education: Degree preferred
Core Responsibilities
• Incident Management: Own the full lifecycle of incident tickets—from triage and coordination with engineering teams to final resolution and root cause analysis.
• AWS Platform Support: Support production-grade, customer-facing AWS hosted APIs and services, ensuring reliability, security, and stability.
• Operational Excellence: Develop and maintain actionable runbooks, lead knowledge transfer sessions, and ensure support teams are fully prepared for production readiness.
• Collaboration: Act as a primary liaison between platform teams, product partners, and various cross-functional groups (e.g., Access Management, VisionLink).
Technical & Professional Requirements
• AWS Expertise: Strong knowledge of core AWS services, API design, monitoring, and incident management.
• Production Experience: Proven track require supporting complex, multi-team production environments.
• Ownership Mindset: Demonstrated accountability for service stability and follow-through on incident outcomes.
• Communication: Ability to clearly communicate incident status and technical details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
