Job Role: Avionics Verification & Validation (V&V) Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Avionics Verification & Validation (V&V) Engineer with strong expertise in Embedded C, DO-178B/C, Integration & Validation, HSIT, and embedded software testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing test procedures, executing verification activities, analyzing results, and ensuring compliance with aerospace software standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform software Verification & Validation (V&V) activities for avionics applications.
• Analyze system and software requirements to create comprehensive test strategies.
• Develop, review, and execute system/software test cases and test procedures.
• Perform Hardware Software Integration Testing (HSIT) and system integration validation.
• Execute test cases, analyze results, and prepare detailed test reports.
• Perform structural coverage analysis including Decision Coverage (DC) and Condition Coverage (CC).
• Work with testing tools such as RTRT, LDRA, or equivalent.
• Support debugging, defect analysis, and root cause investigation.
• Validate compliance with DO-178B/C certification requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Support configuration management and change management activities.
Required Skills
• 8–10 years of experience in Avionics Software Verification & Validation.
• Strong programming in Embedded C with excellent debugging skills.
• Hands-on experience with DO-178B/DO-178C standards.
• Experience in Hardware Software Integration Testing (HSIT).
• Strong knowledge of Integration & Validation activities.
• Experience with Structural Coverage Analysis (DC & CC).
• Hands-on experience using RTRT, LDRA, or similar verification tools.
• Experience working with test benches and simulators.
• Strong understanding of System & Software Requirement Analysis.
• Experience in writing, executing, and maintaining test cases and test procedures.
• Knowledge of Configuration Management and Change Management.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
