Position Summary
The Chief Isaac Mechanical Automotive Technician Apprentice is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to customers.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine vehicle maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, fluid checks)
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
Repair or replace faulty components such as brakes, engines, transmissions, and suspension systems
Conduct vehicle inspections and identify potential safety concerns
Test drive vehicles to confirm repairs and ensure proper operation
Maintain accurate repair records and documentation
Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding repair needs
Follow safety standards and company procedures at all times
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED (Automotive Technology certification preferred)
Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, HVAC, etc.)
Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and repair tools
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Valid driver’s license (clean driving record preferred)
ASE certification (preferred but not always required)
