We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in the use of hand and power tools. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. A commitment to excellent customer service is essential, as you will interact with clients to understand their vehicle issues and provide appropriate solutions. Responsibilities
• Diagnose and repair automotive issues using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
• Auto schematics to understand vehicle systems and troubleshoot problems effectively.
• Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as required for repairs.
• Conduct equipment repairs to ensure all tools are in optimal working condition.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to Health and Safety protocols.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their vehicle needs and repair processes.
• Assist with heavy lifting when necessary during the repair process.
Skills
• Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to automotive repair.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics accurately.
• Experience in welding is an advantage but not essential.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required in various repair tasks.
• Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Capability to maintain a high standard of work while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
