Job Description
NCS GLOBAL (Australia) is seeking motivated and detail-oriented candidates for the role of Australian Accounts & Taxation Associate. The ideal candidate will have foundational experience in financial and tax accounting, with a focus on Australian regulations. This role involves working closely with a team of accountants and directly liaising with clients to deliver high-quality financial services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements and taxation summaries.
2. Preparation of income tax returns and financial reports, primarily for SMSFs, but also for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
3. Implementation of effective tax planning strategies for tax minimization.
4. Preparation and lodgement of BAS, IAS, and TBAR returns.
5. Advising clients on technical and taxation matters as required.
6. Building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
7. Managing workflow within a small team of accountants.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. 6 months to 1.5 years of relevant experience in Australian accounting and taxation.
3. Strong understanding of Australian tax regulations.
4. Good communication and client interaction skills.
