About the Role:
• As a fresher Chartered Accountant in the Statutory Audit team, you will be part of a dynamic and growing function focused on delivering high-quality audits to listed and unlisted clients.

Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning and executing statutory audits of various clients in accordance with auditing standards.
• Perform audit procedures such as vouching, verification, ledger scrutiny, and analytical reviews.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (Ind AS, AS), auditing standards, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Draft audit reports and documentation.
• Support senior team members in managing client expectations and timelines.
• Stay updated with changes in accounting and auditing standards, tax laws, and regulations.
• Work with audit tools and templates (e.g. CaseWare, EY Canvas, etc.).
• Travel to client locations as required.

Qualifications:
• Qualified Chartered Accountant

Required Skills:
• Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing standards (Ind AS, CARO, SA, etc.).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:
• Articleship experience in statutory audit or assurance preferred.
• Exposure to listed clients or IFRS is an added advantage. Read more
