Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Associate Professor role based in Anand. The Associate Professor will deliver lectures, tutorials, and seminars, develop and update course materials, and assess student performance through assignments, examinations, and projects. The role involves supervising student research, guiding dissertations or theses, and mentoring learners in academic and professional matters. The Associate Professor is expected to engage in independent and collaborative research, publish scholarly work, and participate in conferences and academic forums. Additional responsibilities include contributing to departmental administration, serving on academic committees, supporting accreditation activities, and promoting a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
• Advanced academic credentials, typically a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in the relevant discipline, with a strong record of teaching and research.
• Demonstrated experience in university-level teaching, curriculum development, and student assessment.
• Proven research capabilities, including publications in peer-reviewed journals and participation in academic conferences or seminars.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to teach and mentor students from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, contribute to departmental initiatives, and engage in institutional service activities.
• Commitment to ethical academic practices, inclusive pedagogy, and continuous professional development.
• Experience in securing research funding or managing academic projects is an advantage.
• Familiarity with educational technologies, learning management systems, and innovative teaching methods is beneficial.
