The Role:
We are looking for a legal professional with excellent knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in the industry and jurisdiction.
The candidate should have strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are very important for this role.
The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, attention to detail and accuracy, teamwork, and basic life skills, as well as strategic thinking are all necessary qualifications for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities will include-
• Drafting of new contracts and all letters/correspondence from HR to stakeholders.
• Review and negotiation of issues within the organization.
• Leading the company's litigation.
• Ensuring compliance of intellectual property (IP), including copyrights, trademarks, patents, and trade secrets.
• Ensuring compliance of labor and employment law.
• Managing relationships with external legal counsel, regulatory bodies, government agencies, and other stakeholders as necessary for legal matters.
• Compliance with laws and regulations, including hiring and onboarding procedures, employee benefits regulations, provident fund, ESIC, workplace safety laws, and keeping employee information private.
• Legal risk management and corporate governance.
Required Qualification:
A Bachelor's degree in law (LL.B) and a license to practice law are required.
Three plus years of experience as a lawyer or a legal officer in a corporate firm will be an added advantage.
