About the Opportunity: - A leading Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) in India is seeking a highly qualified and experienced cyber security professional to join their team as an Assistant General Manager. - This permanent position offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to play a vital role in safeguarding the bank's critical infrastructure and information assets. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and Implement Cyber Security Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement a comprehensive cyber security strategy aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. - Threat Management and Security Analysis: Identify, assess, and mitigate cyber security threats and vulnerabilities. - Security Architecture and Design: Maintain and enhance the bank's network and information security architecture, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and data encryption. - Security Incident Response: Lead incident response activities, including detection, containment, eradication, and recovery from cyber security incidents. - Security Awareness and Training: Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for bank employees to promote a culture of cyber security. - Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address security weaknesses. - Security Policy Management: Develop, implement, and maintain cyber security policies and procedures. - Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with relevant cyber security regulations and standards. - Security Budget Management: Develop and manage the cyber security budget effectively. - Stay Current with Trends: Stay updated on the latest cyber security threats and trends and implement necessary changes to the security posture. - Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Security within the BFSI sector. - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a senior or head-level Information Security position, equivalent to Scale IV or above in the Bank.
