Banquet Operations Assistant Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Director of Events and Hospitality
Scheduling: Scheduled by the Director of Events and Hospitality
Compensation: Salary based on experience, plus gratuities based on events worked
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Banquet Operations Assistant Manager to join our Events & Hospitality team.
The primary focus of this role is operational excellence and seamless event execution. The Banquet Operations Assistant Manager will serve as the primary operational leader on event days, ensuring banquet standards are consistently maintained and events are executed efficiently, professionally, and to the highest standard.
Working closely with the Director of Events and Hospitality and Events Manager, this position will oversee banquet operations, lead and support banquet staff, coordinate event-day requirements, and ensure each event delivers an exceptional experience for our guests and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Event & Banquet Operations
Supervise all banquet events from setup through completion.
Serve as the primary operational leader on event days, ensuring all aspects of the event run smoothly.
Oversee room setups and ensure they are completed accurately and on schedule.
Conduct event quality inspections to ensure presentation, service, and operational standards are maintained.
Ensure established banquet standards and procedures are consistently followed.
Replace event-day operational duties currently performed by management, providing hands-on leadership and oversight during events.
Plan and coordinate events as scheduled by the Director of Events and Hospitality.
