Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Working Hours: General / Regular

Compensation Range: 6 to 7 LPA

Job Brief

Are you passionate about sales and building strong market relationships? We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager from the FMCG industry to lead sales growth across Pune and nearby markets. In this role, you will work closely with distributors, guide sales teams, expand market reach, and help strengthen brand presence.

This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys field work, team leadership, and driving business growth in the FMCG industry.

Responsibilities
• Drive sales growth and achieve business targets within the assigned territory.
• Develop and expand the distributor network to increase market coverage.
• Build strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and trade partners.
• Lead, guide, and motivate the sales team to improve performance and productivity.
• Ensure product availability, visibility, and execution across all sales channels.
• Conduct regular market visits to understand customer needs and market trends.
• Monitor competitor activities and identify new business opportunities.
• Plan and execute promotional activities, brand activations, and visibility programs.
• Track sales performance and take corrective actions when needed.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of sales team members.
• Maintain regular communication with team members and provide field support.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and business standards.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• 5 to 7+ years of sales experience in the FMCG industry.
• Experience in distributor management and channel sales.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of the Mumbai market is a must.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
