About the role
BRIGHT (Bringing Responsive, Integrated Healthcare To our Community) is a multidisciplinary team that provides rapid assessment and acute care for patients whose complex care needs are unable to be met by primary care providers and would otherwise need to be managed in an emergency department. The pharmacist role is highly valued by the team and as part of the CALHN Integrated Care and CALHN Pharmacy teams you will play a key role in delivering optimal medication management services, combining your clinical expertise with a passion for excellence in patient care to ensure best possible outcomes for patients. This role will be on a seven-day roster with rostered hours being 10am to 6pm.
About You
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in pharmacy practice and a commitment to patient care. To succeed in this role, you will bring:
Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and patients in a multidisciplinary environment.
Organisation and Initiative: Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to change effectively.
Relevant Experience and Technical Skills: Completion of pre-registration training in a hospital or community setting, coupled with good technical and manipulative skills to deliver high-quality pharmacy services.
Comprehensive Knowledge: In-depth understanding of clinical pharmacy practices, medication dispensing, patient counselling, and relevant pharmacy acts and legislation.
