Clerk Grade 7/8 with a salary range of $110,266 - $122,058 per annum plus superannuation
Temporary role up to 12 months (with possibility of extension or conversion to ongoing) based in Sydney CBD

About the role

As the Advisor, Social Media, you will play a key role in leading platform planning, content creation and community management across Screen NSW and Sound NSW’s social media channels. You will drive the development of well-informed, engaged online communities and foster meaningful interaction aligned with each entity’s strategies and priorities. This role involves content ideation and production, real-time community engagement, performance monitoring, and collaboration with internal teams and government partners to deliver impactful digital communication and an exceptional customer experience.

About You

You are a creative and strategic social media professional with at least two years’ experience managing professional social media accounts, particularly on LinkedIn and Instagram. You’ll have a strong understanding of current social media trends, tactics and platform updates, and be skilled in creating engaging content—ideally with photography and video editing capabilities. A background or keen interest in the screen and/or music sectors will be highly regarded, as will your ability to stay across shifting government priorities. You’ll be proactive, adaptable and able to translate complex priorities into compelling social media activity that connects with diverse audiences.
