Our Outpatients Department at Northern Beaches Hospital is looking for a friendly experienced staff member for a Full Time Position. This role is Monday- Friday, shifts start from 7:30am, 8am, 9am and you will only work a 7.6hr day. As a Ward Clerk your responsibilities will include:

providing patient-centred customer service including:
greet all customers
handle enquires with a friendly and professional manner
book, reschedule bill appointments
maintain accurate and timely patient information data collection and processing of medical records,
liaise with medical staff
undertaking general administration duties,
liaison with other areas of the hospital,
management of patient electronic records ensuring the privacy and confidentiality of patient information.
Essential Criteria:

experience in an acute patient focused healthcare facility/hospital,
highly developed interpersonal and time management skills with the ability to work in multidisciplinary work environments,
good computer literacy sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel),
a track record of providing great service and customer experience,
strong attention to detail
strong interpersonal communication and report writing skills,
ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Operated by Healthscope, Northern Beaches Hospital (NBH) is located in Frenchs Forest, only 13kms north of Sydney CBD. The hospital is a contemporary 488 bed facility comprising of 60% public and 40% private beds.
