Job Description
The Role
Your Responsibilities will include:
• Verification of crew qualifications / documentation
• Application of flag state required endorsements and certificates
• Monthly salary and home allotments for crew
• Updating of marine personnel personal records in crew management system
• Visa application and flight booking
• Ensure that crew permits, invitation letters, guarantee letters, travel itinerary are obtained in prior to mobilization
• Preparation of claims pertaining to crew travel expenses
• Preparation of cash advance as per crew request
• Oversee the performance appraisals and career progression of seafarers
• Creating and maintaining employee personnel files and ensuring employee information is up to date in the internal system.
• Application and renewal of work visas.
• Maintaining employee leave and training records.
• Administering medical and other insurance as per Company policy.
• Preparing monthly reports for management.
• Helping the Company meet its objectives by developing & implementing high impact learning & development programs in line with business needs and priorities.
• Establishing strong partnerships with the business to gain a strong understanding of current business issues and opportunities, as related to learning and development.
Ideal Profile
Skills Required:
• You ideally possess solid experience in Internal Mobility and Leadership Hiring.
• Strong knowledge of legal and statutory requirements pertaining to HR practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact and build credibility across all levels of the organisation.
• Strong presentation skills.
• You are a strong networker & relationship builder
• You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
